After studying film and television production in Bristol, Parnell relocated to New Zealand and began working as a production coordinator at his sister’s production company, Notable Pictures.

It was here that Parnell’s talent for fashion rose to the fore when he was made stylist for the company’s television presenters. Parnell’s production and fashion acumen eventually earned him a role with New Zealand Fashion Week assisting America’s Next Top Model cycle 15 winner, Krista White.

His involvement with New Zealand Fashion Week launched Parnell into a sphere of international fashion industries crème de la crème, augmenting his already impressive contacts list. Parnell immediately set up a base of operations in New York City and the proceeding three years in gave him the opportunity to work with such names as celebrity stylists June Ambrose & Derek Warburton and luxury designers Nicole Miller and Randi Rahm and brands such as IMGMacy’s & the It Gets Better Project.

In early 2013 Parnell took part in the international competition series “Style Wars” which is produced Big Foot Entertainment for the Fashion One Television Network.  Parnell was announced the winner of the series in January 2014. Since winning the show Parnell has filmed a series called “Fash Mob” where he and a co host create eccentric looks for the public.

Parnell is currently based in London working with brands like, Donna Karan International, Harvey Nichols, The Famous Company & Peninsula Films.

Nicholas Parnell is currently represented by BMA Artists for work in the UK, Beirut and Dubai.
